The Hotel Miramonti is an ideal starting point for excursions on foot, by mountain bike or on horseback.

The Great Apennines Excursion, a hiking trail that run all along the Apennines for 375 km from east to west is accessible just a few meters from the hotel. There are many options for hiking in the mountains with paths leading toward the Lagastello and the Apuan Alps. As a Visitors Center of the National Park of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, the Hotel Miramonti is an exclusive partner of the horseback riding school managed by the Region of Tuscany. Thanks to this partnership, guests can book and embark on horseback riding excursions along the local paths.

We also offer free use of mountain bikes at the hotel along with itineraries for local rides that are perfect for the whole family. 

The Hotel Miramonti is the perfect place to begin your exploration of all the beauty of Tuscany. In under an hour of travel, you can be at the picturesque hot spot of Cinque Terre and some of the most beautiful art cities of Tuscany: Lucca, Pisa, Florence and Livorno. Versilia is only 45 minutes away, and the ski slopes of Cerreto Laghi and Parma are reachable in  just an hour. Families may also want to take a day trip to Italy’s largest aquarium, the Aquarium of Genoa, less than two hours away.
